The most loaded question we hear is, “How’s the market?” Well, are you a buyer? A seller? An investor? It’s really difficult to give one answer in the real estate market because if you’re a seller it could be one thing, but if you’re a buyer the answer depends on if you’re looking to use financing or cash. And for investors, they’re often buying with cash when no one else wants to buy.
So when you’re listening to the national news and they tell you doom and gloom and prices are dropping sure, they can be dropping in some over-inflated areas or other parts of the country that has oversupply. But here in Seattle, in the most areas, it’s a seller’s market. There’s not enough houses for the demand out there, and if the house is priced right will usually sell.
